Uttarakhand: Avalanche hits Chorabari glacier in Rudraprayag, watch the terrifying scene of nature's havoc in the video

National News: An avalanche occurred near Chorabari Glacier in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. This avalanche was in a very remote area. People captured its video on their cameras. There is no report of any kind of damage. An avalanche was seen on Thursday in the Chaurabari glacier above Kedarnath, although no damage has been reported. People captured this incident on their cameras.

On Thursday afternoon at around 2.30 pm, an avalanche was seen coming from the high Himalayan region in the Chaurabari glacier located seven km from Kedarnath.

There was a lot of noise, which could be heard even in Kedarnath, the glaciers were breaking and falling down. Many people from Kedarnath captured this incident in their cameras. Many people were also scared.

Many houses are in danger due to heavy rain

Rudraprayag: The continuous torrential rain in Jakholi block of the district has disrupted the normal life. The situation is quite horrific in the landslide incident in the village panchayat Gorti. Due to the heavy rain last night, more than a dozen houses in the village are in danger.

Villagers Trapped Amid Avalanche Threat

The affected people include Vijaypal Singh, Dharampal Singh Rawat, Bhagwan Singh Rawat, Uttam Singh Rawat, Vikram Singh Rawat, Jaspal Singh Negi, Shivraj Singh Rawat, Praveen Mamgain, Abbal Rana, Avtar Singh Jagwan, Kanti Prasad Mamgain and many other villagers. More than 100 villagers living in these houses and their cattle are now standing on the brink of death.

Shops Face Imminent Landslide Danger

A dozen shops in the village are now facing the threat of landslides and can collapse anytime. The fear of sudden disaster has created panic among the villagers. Every night, families are staying awake in constant worry. Children and elderly people are the most affected, living under extreme stress. Daily life has been completely disturbed due to the danger looming over the village. People are praying for safety but fear is rising with each passing hour. Authorities are being urged to take immediate action before the situation turns into a tragedy.
